Toronto, Ontario (January 17, 2007) - AMEC, the international project management and services company, announces that its Nuclear Safety Solutions business has signed a two-year, General Service Agreement with China's Third Qinshan Nuclear Power Company (TQNPC), owner/operator of two CANDU nuclear power stations.

"Securing this agreement in China creates a strong foundation to build upon for further expansion of our services in this critical marketplace."
Under this agreement, AMEC will provide operational support services to TQNPC to assist them in maintaining their plants. excellent performance.
